Privacy policy
The Highlighted by Sara site is mine, Sara Toadere. Here I explain what personal data I receive through it, why I use it and what your rights are.
Who I am (data controller)
The data controller is me, Sara Toadere, a freelance photographer (private individual) based in Bistrița, România. You can reach me at any time on WhatsApp or by phone at +40 746 296 352.
What data I collect
The contact form sends nothing to this site. When you send it, WhatsApp opens with a message written from what you filled in: your name and message, plus the session type and preferred date if you chose them. The message reaches me only if you send it from WhatsApp.
When you message me on WhatsApp (from the form or directly) or call me, I also receive your phone number. On WhatsApp I also see your profile name and your profile photo, if you have one.
Why I use it
Only to reply to you and, if you wish, to talk about a photo session or a collaboration.
Legal basis
I use the data on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box in the form, and to take, at your request, the steps before a possible collaboration. You can withdraw your consent at any time with a WhatsApp message.
For the technical data in the hosting logs (see below), the basis is my legitimate interest: keeping the site loading and protected from abuse.
Where the data goes
Messages reach me through WhatsApp (Meta Platforms Ireland), and the conversation takes place there, under WhatsApp’s terms.
The site is hosted by Vercel. The form does not send your data to Vercel or to any other server: the text is put together in your browser and goes straight to WhatsApp.
Like any host, Vercel processes some technical data on every visit: your IP address, the browser you use, the page requested and the time. They go into the hosting logs and serve only to keep the site working and secure. Vercel keeps them for as long as its own policies set.
How long I keep it
I keep the messages I receive for at most 12 months after our last exchange, then I delete them.
Visit statistics
The site uses no Google Analytics and no other tools for visit statistics or tracking.
